Author Guidelines

ISCSITR-IJDSRD welcomes original and high-quality manuscripts that contribute to theoretical, methodological, and practical advancements in distributed systems. The journal maintains strict academic standards and ethical policies. Authors must adhere to the following guidelines:

1. Types of Manuscripts

  • Original Research Articles: In-depth studies offering novel insights, methods, or system architectures in distributed computing and related technologies.

  • Review Articles: Comprehensive overviews of recent developments in areas such as cloud computing, decentralized systems, or edge computing, including critical evaluations and future directions.

2.  Manuscript Preparation

2.1 General Format

  • Language: Clear and grammatically correct English is mandatory.

  • File Formats: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) or LaTeX (.tex) only.

  • Length:

    • Research/Review Articles: 6,000–10,000 words (inclusive of references and appendices)

    • Short Communications: Up to 3,000 words

  • Font: 12-point Times New Roman

  • Spacing: Double-spaced throughout

  • Margins: Standard 1-inch (2.54 cm) margins

2.2 Manuscript Structure

Title Page

  • Title: Max 15 words; concise and descriptive

  • Authors: Full names, affiliations, and email addresses; clearly indicate the corresponding author

Abstract

  • Up to 250 words summarizing purpose, methods, findings, and significance

Keywords

  • 4–6 key terms representing core content

Main Sections

  • Introduction: Establish research context, problem, and objectives

  • Methodology: Detailed, reproducible methods, system models, or algorithms used

  • Results: Use tables, figures, or visualizations for clarity

  • Discussion: Interpret results, compare with prior work, and propose future work

  • Conclusion: Summarize main contributions and impact

  • Acknowledgments: Note funding, institutional support, or contributor recognition

  • References: APA Style; all sources must be cited in-text

Figures and Tables

  • Figures: High resolution (JPEG/PNG), labeled sequentially

  • Tables: Editable; insert within manuscript or after references

3. Submission Process

  • Submit to: iscsitr@gmail.com

  • Cover Letter: Required; summarize contribution, originality, and declare no simultaneous submission

  • Plagiarism Check: All manuscripts are screened; high similarity will result in rejection

  • Conflicts of Interest: Must be disclosed in the cover letter

  • Ethical Compliance: For studies involving humans/animals, ethical clearance must be declared

4. Review Process

  • Double-Blind Peer Review: At least two independent reviewers

  • Review Timeline: Typically 1–2 weeks

  • Decision Outcomes: Accept, Revise, or Reject

  • Revision Timeline: 30 days for resubmission

  • Response Letter: Must address all reviewer comments

6. Copyright and Licensing

  • License: Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0)

  • Copyright: Transferred to the journal upon acceptance

7. Post-Acceptance

  • Articles undergo copyediting, typesetting, and proofing

  • Authors receive final proofs and must respond within 24 hours
