Author Guidelines
The International Journal of Scientific Research in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (ISCSITR-IJSRAIML) welcomes original, high-quality research papers that contribute to advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) theory, methodologies, and applications. To maintain rigorous academic standards, authors are required to adhere to the following submission guidelines:
1. Types of Manuscripts
ISCSITR-IJSRAIML accepts the following types of manuscripts:
- Original Research Articles – Comprehensive studies presenting new findings, methods, or theoretical advancements in AI and ML.
- Review Articles – Surveys of recent advancements in AI and ML, providing critical insights and future research directions.
- Case Studies and Applications – Real-world implementations of AI-driven technologies in different domains.
- Short Communications – Concise reports on novel techniques, preliminary findings, or innovative AI applications.
2. Manuscript Preparation
2.1 General Format
- Language: Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise, and grammatically correct English.
- Document Format: Submissions should be in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) or LaTeX (.tex) format.
- Length:
- Research articles and review papers: 6,000 – 10,000 words (including references and appendices).
- Short communications: Up to 3,000 words.
- Font: Use 12-point Times New Roman or a similar font.
- Spacing: Double-spacing should be used throughout, including abstract, references, and figure legends.
- Margins: 1-inch (2.54 cm) margins on all sides.
2.2 Structure of the Manuscript
Each manuscript should include the following sections in the specified order:
Title Page
- Title: A concise, descriptive title (max 15 words) without abbreviations.
- Author Information: Full names, affiliations, and email addresses of all authors. Clearly indicate the corresponding author.
Abstract
A brief summary (max 250 words) highlighting the purpose, methods, key results, and significance of the study.
Keywords
Provide 4-6 keywords that represent the core topics of the manuscript.
Introduction
Present the background of the study, emphasizing the research gap and objectives of the paper.
Methodology
Provide a detailed description of the methods, models, and algorithms used in the research. The section should be replicable.
Results
Clearly present the findings using tables, figures, or charts where necessary. Avoid repetition of data already included in figures/tables.
Discussion
Interpret the results, compare them with prior research, discuss implications, and address any limitations. Suggest future research directions.
Conclusion
Summarize the key findings and their impact on the AI and ML field.
Acknowledgments
Mention funding sources, institutional support, or contributors not listed as authors.
References
Use APA format for references, listed alphabetically. All references must be cited in the text.
Examples:
- Journal Article: Author(s). (Year). Title of article. Title of Journal, Volume(Issue), Page range.
- Book: Author(s). (Year). Title of book. Publisher.
Figures and Tables
- Figures should be submitted in high-resolution formats (JPEG or PNG) and numbered consecutively in the text (e.g., Figure 1, Figure 2).
- Tables should be editable and placed after the references or within the manuscript body.
3. Submission Process
Authors must submit their papers via email to iscsitr@gmail.com.
3.1 Cover Letter
A cover letter must accompany the manuscript, outlining:
- The significance of the study
- Its originality
- Confirmation that the manuscript has not been submitted elsewhere
3.2 Plagiarism Check
All manuscripts will be screened for plagiarism. ISCSITR-IJSRAIML follows strict anti-plagiarism policies, and submissions with high similarity scores will be rejected.
3.3 Conflict of Interest Disclosure
Authors must disclose any financial or personal conflicts of interest that might influence the results or interpretations of their research.
3.4 Ethical Compliance
If the research involves human participants or animal subjects, authors must provide a statement confirming that all procedures followed the relevant ethical standards.
4. Review Process
ISCSITR-IJSRAIML follows a double-blind peer-review process to ensure impartial and high-quality reviews.
- Each submission is reviewed by at least two experts in the field.
- The review process typically takes 1-2 weeks.
- The corresponding author will be notified of the editorial decision (accept, revise, or reject).
5. Revisions
- If revisions are requested, authors must resubmit the revised manuscript within 30 days.
- Authors should include a detailed response to the reviewers' comments, indicating how each concern has been addressed.
6. Publication Charges
ISCSITR-IJSRAIML is an open-access journal, ensuring free access to all published articles.
To cover publication costs, there is an Article Processing Charge (APC) payable upon acceptance.

7. Copyright and Licensing
Upon acceptance, authors will be required to transfer copyright to ISCSITR-IJSRAIML. The journal operates under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0), allowing for sharing and adaptation of the work with proper attribution.
8. Post-Acceptance Process
Once accepted, the article undergoes:
- Copyediting – Ensuring grammatical accuracy and formatting consistency.
- Typesetting – Preparing the article for online publication.
- Final Proof Review – Authors receive page proofs for review, and any corrections must be returned within 24 hours.
