In the wake of accelerating climate change, global inequality, and ecological degradation, higher education institutions (HEIs) face a pressing responsibility to foster sustainable mindsets and competencies in learners. This paper explores the integration of transformative pedagogies aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into higher education curricula, emphasizing experiential sustainability learning. Drawing on literature and recent policy shifts, the paper outlines how project-based, community-engaged, and systems-thinking approaches can reorient higher education toward planetary well-being and social justice. Two models and a comparative table demonstrate effective integration strategies. The study concludes by discussing implications for institutional change, pedagogical innovation, and long-term impact assessment in global education.
