The need for resilient and sustainable food systems is growing more urgent amid the intensifying impacts of climate change, biodiversity loss, and socio-economic inequality. Agroecological transitions offer a holistic framework to address these challenges by integrating ecological principles, social justice, and innovative technologies. This paper explores the synergistic potential of digital farming technologies and Indigenous knowledge systems in fostering agroecological transformation, especially in the context of climate resilience. We examine current literature, present empirical and conceptual analyses, and identify policy and research gaps. A multidisciplinary approach is proposed, incorporating agroecological principles, precision agriculture, and local epistemologies. The findings support a pluralistic model of agricultural innovation that acknowledges traditional knowledge alongside technological advancement as key drivers of sustainability.
