Abstract

The pervasive role of social networks in shaping modern societies has grown significantly, particularly in influencing economic and political decisions. Social networks, both digital and traditional, act as platforms for information exchange, collective mobilization, and decision-making. These networks have become central to the fabric of both economic and political life, influencing consumer behavior, policy formation, and electoral outcomes. This paper explores the relationship between social networks and decision-making, examining their effects on economic trends and political strategies. By reviewing relevant literature, analyzing current data, and presenting key examples, we will show how social networks have become both tools of empowerment and manipulation in modern decision-making processes.
