Abstract

This study investigates the impact of Digital Twin (DT) technology on enhancing real-time decision-making efficiency within complex supply chain networks. As supply chains face increasing uncertainty and dynamic disruptions, the integration of DTs—virtual replicas of physical systems—enables continuous synchronization and predictive analytics. This paper examines prior literature, compares real-time decision metrics pre- and post-DT implementation, and identifies key performance indicators (KPIs) improved by DT adoption. Results reveal that DTs significantly improve response times, reduce decision latency, and enhance overall operational agility in large-scale supply chains.
