The integration of renewable energy systems into building design has emerged as a critical pathway toward enhancing climate resilience in urban infrastructure. Rapid urbanization, coupled with the intensification of climate change impacts, necessitates a shift from conventional energy-intensive building models to adaptive, low-carbon, and self-sufficient infrastructures. This paper examines the role of renewable energy systems such as solar photovoltaics, wind energy, and building-integrated energy storage in advancing resilient urban development. The study underscores technological innovations, policy frameworks, and design principles that foster sustainable urban environments. By synthesizing recent scholarly contributions, the paper highlights practical strategies for incorporating renewable energy into buildings, offering a roadmap for resilient cities.
